Sascha: Spring is here, and with it, finally time again for an aperitif with friends and neighbors at our neighborhood hotspot. The Kunzareal in Unterwindisch, now a vibrant residential area, is characterized by industrial charm and harks back to a time when the spinning mill in Wasserschloss was one of the most important producers and employers in Aargau.

Nina: With a child, date nights have become quite rare. But when we do manage to get away as a couple, it’s immediately clear where we’re going: to the “Wirtschaft im Franz” in Kreis 3 in Zurich. Our joy was even greater when we learned in 2024 that the people behind Franz have also taken over the Landgasthof Paradiesli in Betlis on Lake Walen. Since then, there have been fewer classic date nights, but all the more beautiful family weekend trips to Paradiesli. There, delicious food awaits, much of it directly from their own large garden, a beautiful view of Lake Walen, a warm team, simple and charming rooms, and great hikes in the surrounding area. And the large waterfall nearby definitively makes it our favorite spot.

Michelle: Cycling around Lake Greifen and enjoying the panoramic view of Lake Greifen from the jetty in Fällanden. Simply wonderful.
Hiking and walking in Wengen is always beautiful, as you can enjoy the view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley everywhere. My tip: Walk to Leiterhorn, where you can see the entire mountain panorama, grill your sausage, and have a nice picnic.

Daniela: Many paths lead to Loorenkopf, above Witikon. Whether on foot or by bike, the journey there is already part of the experience. The observation tower, the many barbecue areas, and the fresh forest air make Loorenkopf the perfect place for the first warm days of spring.

Leandro: Finally, lunch breaks can be enjoyed by Lake Zurich again. Right in front of our agency building on the lawn by the Zollikon boat station, the view creates a holiday feeling.
